Dear Parents and Caregivers

As you will be aware, the black rain warning is still in force.  There is no indication when this is going to be reduced to amber.  As a result of the black rain warning our buses have been cancelled, in line with ESF policy.

In these circumstances, we will only release children directly into the care of their parents or designated responsible adult. Any parents who wish to come to school at any time from now to collect their child(ren) may do so if it is safe for you to do so.

Please be assured the school will remain open beyond 3pm and we will keep all children here in school until they are collected. All extracurricular activities are cancelled.

Procedures for collection of students 

• On arrival parents will go to the school office to notify staff of their child’s name who they will be collecting

  • If you are collecting a student who is not in your family, please have written proof via a message/email  (bhs@bhs.edu.hk) that you can show on arrival so we know you have permission from their parents. 

  • If you are sending an older sibling to collect your child, please make sure they have written permission via a message/ email that they can show on arrival
