Dear Parents and Caregivers

As you are aware, we are experiencing heavy rain across Hong Kong at present. 

ESF policy for Red Rain and Black Rain when classes are in session is that school continues until the end of normal hours and no school buses are permitted to operate until the signal is lowered to amber or below. 

We are communicating with bus providers to try to have them on standby and we will make a final decision by 1.45 on whether we will need to cancel the school buses. In the event of bus cancellation, parents or helpers will be required to collect their children from school when it becomes safe to do so.  We appreciate the inconvenience caused, but our priority must be to ensure the safety of your children.

In these circumstances, we will only release children directly into the care of their parents or designated responsible adult. If you designate an adult to collect your child please send the designated adult a message so they can show our staff giving them your permission to take your child.  Any parents who wish to come to school at any time from now to collect their child(ren) may do so if it is safe for you to do so.

Please be assured we will keep all children here in school and safe until they are collected.

All extra curricular clubs have been cancelled and your child will have contacted you to make alternative arrangements for collection.
