Dear Y1 and Y2 BHS Families,

We regret to inform you that tomorrow’s Sports Day has been cancelled due to the forecast of rain and thunderstorms. Unfortunately, the expected wet weather will make the surface very slippery and unsafe for activities. Additionally, we are not permitted to take students outdoors when a thunderstorm warning is in place.

We understand that some families may have made arrangements to attend, and we wanted to share this decision with you this evening to allow time for alternative plans. While it’s disappointing for everyone, the safety of our students, staff, and families is always our top priority.

We will explore the possibility of rescheduling Sports Day in Term 3, if circumstances allow, and will keep you updated as soon as we can.
