Changes to the Apps and email page

You may have noticed a change to the menu when you click the Apps & email button at the top of the page.

The new menu features a simple sliding menu to choose which app you want. The reason for the change is that the new menu works with touch and swipe on ipads/ipods and other tablets.

glad it worked ok. 

Did you notice the new iPad front page bit as well? Before the flash balloons wouldn't work so only showed a grey box on iPad, I've created a non-flash fallback with a slideshow of pictures.

So good on iPad/iPhone. Maybe we could use this for other things on The Beacon as well!

That's the plan actually. I'm looking at integrating touch control in a few different areas of The Beacon.
