Hi everyone,

I hope you have all had a wonderful summer holiday.

I would very much like to get everyone up and running with The Beacon as soon as possible this year. There have been a couple of changes to the way things were last year which I'll explain below.

First there are now a lot more student pages than last year. Everyone from Years 3 - 6 now has a personal page, an English page, a Unit of Inquiry page and a Learning Technologies page.

I will introduce these to you in the lessons you have with me over the next week.

Also within you year group pages you will find a new one for the work you do in my lessons.

Finally there are two new buttons on the front page. One will contain some useful things to help you when creating pages. The other links to Brain Pop Jr.
