  • Well done BHS! At the International Food Fair, you helped the Green Team to raise just over $1300 at their raffle stall. The Green Team are sending the money you raised to the David Shepard White Tiger Appeal. The money will help to protect the very endangered white tigers of the world.

  • Helping Hong Kong

    On the 15th May 2010, a group of BHS students and their families went to Lantau Island and planted some trees with the help of Paul Melsom.  What a great thing to do to help Hong Kong's environment.

  • The children in Years 3-6 had a talk from Bobsy who owns a few vegetarian restaurants in HK. He talked to the children about how the world's meat industry could be a large contributer to the world's pollution. He talked about how reducing their meat intake could help our planet.

  • This presentation was created by students at Shatin College who are taking action to help sharks.  They came to talk to the Green Team.

  • Ms Jeves gave a fabulous assembly explaining why sharks are so important to us and shared the Green Team's views on why we should save sharks and how you can help to save sharks from extinction.

    Can you remember what you can do to save sharks?

    As the Green Team feel that this is such an important message about sharks, they have decided that BHS should help to adopt a shark this year.

    Can you help raise the money to do this?

    You can see the slides from Ms Jeves' fabulous presentation below. The video of the first shark she ever spotted while diving is also below, the file is called Malapascua which is the place where Ms Jeves was diving.  Can you remember what it was called?
